Strategic’s experts carried out a corporate development program for the OLX Ukrainian office team.
Founded in 2006 by two French entrepreneurs, the OLX brand is now represented in over 30 countries worldwide, including Argentina, Ukraine, Poland, Uzbekistan, Romania, Bulgaria, China, Kazakhstan, India and others. And OLX sites are visited by more than 330 million people from 40+ countries every month.
OLX is not just a platform for buying/selling goods and services. OLX is the largest online classifieds division of Prosus, which is a division of Naspers, a global internet consumer group and one of the largest technology investors in the world. Today the holding includes such well-known world companies as Udemi, Meesho, Codecademy, Skillsoft and others. All of them are united by the same core and shared values, with which they are rapidly developing and moving forward.
In a fast-changing business environment, you need to stay dynamic and flexible. For the next step in the company’s growth and development, you need to look at yourself from the outside, even when achieving the financial and market goals.
The traditional format of corporate training with a low level of customization may not work. For training to have a significant effect, you need a design of the program for solving the company’s business task, which is based on a deep understanding of the current state, external and internal challenges, goals, level of competence and maturity, as well as the specifics of the company’s business culture. Within the framework of a particular methodology, you need to honestly answer the questions of where we are now and who we want to be, based on how the world is changing – this is what we worked with at the workshop “Business Strategy: from Essence to Frameworks.”
The teams solved their business cases in practice. Some participants were online thanks to the possibility of a hybrid learning format, with the active use of digital tools. At the workshop, the Miro tool, which allowed different teams within a single field to develop and see each other’s solutions, was used.
Working together during the two-day workshop gave the team additional insight and drive for the next strategic steps. In addition, the team received practical tools and frameworks that allow you to structure the understanding of strategy and approaches to forming strategic decisions, synchronization with the team’s help, and making the next leap in development.
