New project: annual strategic planning for EDS Ukraine
In January 2026, Strategic® continued its collaboration with the engineering and investment group EDS Ukraine — a leader in Ukraine’s energy construction, electrical equipment manufacturing, and e-mobility infrastructure markets. The company’s results one year after their joint long-term strategic planning substantially exceeded initial expectations.
The project context will resonate with many founders whose companies have outgrown ‘hands-on management’:
- financial results are improving;
- technical competence has been proven through delivered projects;
- sustaining focus and resources (people, management attention) becomes the primary constraint;
- strategic ideas exist but aren’t packaged into a manageable system.
Why this matters
One of the biggest mistakes companies make is trying to scale operations that are already broken. If your processes are inefficient and you scale demand, you scale pain.
EDS Ukraine openly acknowledges this and is working to shift the team’s paradigm and move to a new level of management.
What we’ll do together
Analytical preparation and a two-day strategy session with follow-up refinement — developing the Group’s 2026 strategy focusing on:
- the year’s goal;
- 4–5 key bets for the year instead of spreading thin across dozens of initiatives;
- accountability architecture: who owns what and where the single point of contact for clients is;
- initiative portfolio with clear owners, budgets, and timelines;
- flexible rhythms for updating and executing strategy: monthly check-ins, quarterly reviews (yes, we’ll use RHYTHM).
The goal is to move the company into a mode of clear priorities and scaling, whilst staying agile.
Key value
This isn’t ‘just another strategy on paper’. This is a shift to managed growth, where:
- strategy ≠ presentation;
- every bet has a stakeholder and a clear purpose (linked to the long-term vision);
- leaders get a decision-making tool, not a wish list.
‘Build systems, not heroics. Growth that relies on individual heroism doesn’t scale. Systems do.’
