You can find a solution to a current problem only by thinking outside the box. The team must be open to launching new alternative opinions, possibly radically different from the existing ones. Even if these alternatives may seem too irrelevant. Because in terms of team dynamics, stepping out of the box will open up new possibilities.
Despite everything, the team needs to agree on a strategic level so that there are no “skeletons in the closet.” There must be an honest team solution in which everyone believes and is ready to at least go further, and to check or redefine this belief. If this does not happen, all other work on the company development will turn into training or a meaningless educational event. The training project can be a parallel process, but not the main one. Of course, if you do not have an objective of gaining new knowledge or having fun intellectually.
To make new strategic solutions, the team’s own expertise might not be sufficient. And if you need to find a solution on how to develop the company in a different way and in which direction to move, you need to innovatively and “aggressively” get yourself out of the routine operational work within the framework of the current strategy, direction of activity.
There are teams that know how to solve it. Nevertheless, very often it is difficult to do it on your own, and sometimes it is not possible at all. So, there is a need to involve business developers who have certain methodological knowledge based on the personal experience and the experience of development projects. Together with them, your team will be able to achieve target results and gain drive and energy for the next strategic steps.
